Police investigate assault

UPDATE: Police investigating an incident on a walking track adjacent to Sylvan Beach Esplanade, Bellara around 4.45pm yesterday now believe that this incident was an altercation between the two women only.

It had originally been reported to involve a 17-year-old woman, a woman aged in her 40s and a man.

Local police are now investigating a possible assault matter involving the 17-year-old woman and a woman aged in her 40s. No one was injured and no third person or vehicle was involved.
