POLICE investigating an incident in which counterfeit cash was used to buy items at a Caboolture business have released CCTV images of a woman who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

On December 2, a woman produced a fake $50 note to pay for products at a tobacco store on King Street.

Investigators have released CCTV images of the woman they wish to speak to in relation to the incident.

Anyone who may recognise the woman depicted in the images are urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
