AFTER the topsy turvy-year we have had, it's no surprise many have expressed their desire for 2012 to be a better one.

Psychics Craig Wells and Christine shared their tips and predictions for the year to come:

Morayfield's Craig said he saw a wave in 2012 which indicated change and the end of the world as we know it.

This included another financial crisis in May.

"Australians will stand up and have a eureka moment and there will be a huge change to our political structure because the system isn't working for them anymore, they will have more of a say in the way the country is run."

Australians will still be under the monarchy in 2012: "We will go to Britain's aid."

There was good news for our troops as Craig suggested they would be home before the end of 2012 instead of 2013/14.

Locally Craig predicted a shake-up in Moreton Bay Regional Council after the March election.

However he said de-amalgamation was not a possibility.

For Caboolture businesses Craig predicted a stronger sense of community in 2012.

Caboolture residents were advised to snap up lotto tickets.

In the world of politics Craig believed Wyatt Roy would have a quiet year. "He will do well in the future, he is still learning but within eight years he will step up to a higher level."

Craig saw 2012 as being the end of Anna Bligh however he saw no change for Julia Gillard. "She's staying - it's part of the big change coming next year - politicians will start answering to the people more."

"Next year more will realise they are part of a bigger picture."

Psychic Christine also predicted there was plenty was in store in 2012.

"2012 is going to be a very uplifting for everybody and a more responsive and prosperous year for everyone," she said.

"In 2012 people will feel more at ease, there will be a lot of changes in the next 12 months -in government, a lot of different foreclosures in a lot of areas, financial hardship will come in, but there is also doors going to be opened up in other areas.

"Climate change has alarmed people and with the uncertainty and the unknown of where they are to be going, making their money to keep their families afloat.

"People have been feeling betrayed and lied to, and the politicians have lost face in the publics eye."

Christine said Prince William's and Princess Catherine's baby will be a son, and the princess will be a hands-on mother.

She predicted Australia's weather will send us extreme situations; however we will not have the loss of life that we experienced last year.
