Serious crash kills motorcyclist

A MAN has died following a serious two vehicle crash at Ningi last week.

The crash between a motorbike and a vehicle occurred on Bribe Island Road just after 4pm on Friday June 22.

Initial information indicates the motorbike was travelling east on Bribe Island Road when it overtook a turning vehicle and collided with another car turning out of a service station and heading west.

The rider sustained serious head and internal injuries and was transported to hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations continue.
