Snakes enjoy muddy victory
WE are not sure if it was the mud and muck or the home game advantage that allowed the Caboolture Snakes rugby union side to give fans another reason to be chuffed with the boys.
The wet conditions proved to be favourable for the Snakes on Saturday as they pulled off one of their best victories yet.
The downpour and strength of the side allowed the seemingly unstoppable Snakes to crush the Fraser Coast Mariners.
On home turf the Snakes appeared unstoppable as they added another win to their belt with 66-7 on the final scoreboard.
Caboolture are on a six-game winning streak led by Jay Forrester from fullback, who would have to be absolutely beaming with recent results.
While the side has always put on a good show, 2012 seems to be the year of the Snake.
Wartung Premiership officials have declared the Snakes as one of the most impressive sides Caboolture has turned out and have tipped them to be a strong contender for the premiership.
