Teen killed in crash at Caboolture
A TEENAGER died after a severe crash on Caboolture River Road on Saturday.
Preliminary investigations indicated the vehicle was travelling along the road just before 1pm when the car left the roadway and collided with a tree.
The driver was killed at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit were called to investigate.
It was believed two passengers in the vehicle were critically injured.
A man in his late 20s, was transported by the AGL Action Rescue Helicopter to the Royal Brisbane Hospital.
An AGL spokesman said the man had suffered multi trauma injuries and was stabilised at the scene by the helicopter's doctor and flight paramedic before being airlifted to hospital in a critical condition.
Another passenger was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital by the EMQ helicopter.
