FESTIVAL-goers have a tough choice to make tonight, Iggy Popp or Robert Plant?

Plant and his Sensational Space Shifters do start half an hour earlier than Popp and The Stooges, but showing up late at Crossroads will likely guarantee you a spot outside the tent.

Having already played shows to critical acclaim in Perth, Adelaide and Sydney, Plant, the former front man and guitarist of Led Zeppelin, is expected to be one of the best shows of this year's line-up.

Those leaning more towards punk than psychedelic rock will prefer Pop, who was last in Australia in 2011 for Big Day Out.

The Blind Boys of Alabama will prime the crowd at the Mojo tent before Robert Plant, while Irish punksters the Dropkick Murphys will warm up the Crossroads crowd.

The weather forecast looks less wet for today's sell-out crowd, although some showers are still predicted.

Last night's downpours saw punters taking shelter under the tents for Rodriguez, The Steve Miller Band and Santana.
