15-year anniversary of Cathy's Olympic glory

RUNNING: Today marked 15 years since Mackay's most famous runner, Cathy Freeman, won an extraordinary gold medal in the 400m at the Sydney Olympics.

It was an unforgettable moment for Freeman and Australia.

Freeman carried the Australian and Aboriginal flags on a victory lap on that famous night.
