HERE'S our list of Top Truckin' Things to Do for this edition. News of coming events keep rolling in as the year unfolds, but we don't always get know about everything that's happening out there. Here's a few for you to consider visiting...

Kilcoy Konvoy

The Kilcoy Konvoy celebrates what trucking means to the town of Kilcoy, north-west of Brisbane. It's being staged by an enthusiastic group of volunteers and is being run in conjunction with the annual Kilcoy Show on Saturday, April 29.

The Kilcoy Show Society and the Kilcoy Konvoy have their own Facebook pages so head there for all the details.

Heritage trucks at Rocklea

Heritage Trucks Association Australia Inc keeps the old wheels turning at their 2017 annual truck show being staged at the Rocklea Showgrounds at the corner of Marshall Rd and Goburra St, Rocklea, Queensland on May 20-21. Gates open at 8am on both days. The HTAA's 2017 event is being staged a week before the Brisbane Truck Show this time, so everyone can get to both events.

Brisbane Truck Show

Exploding into the world of trucking from May 25-28 is the 50th anniversary of Queensland's first Brisbane Truck Show, so this will be a big one. It's being held in the world class Brisbane Convention Centre. It will be fully undercover and will feature displays on three levels of the convention centre. There are 1500 underground car parks at the venue and there are a further 1500 underground carparks within a five minute walk. It will be the biggest truck show held in Australia in 2017.

Sydney Classics and Antiques

Get out to the Museum of Fire at Penrith for the 7th Annual Sydney Classic and Antique Truck Show's public show day on Sunday, May 28 from 8am-3pm. You can check out the museum's collection of fire appliances while you are there too.

Be at the Acacia Ridge Hotel Beaudesert Rd, Acacia Ridge on June 17 and 18 for the very first Denning Reunion. If you built one, drove one, repaired one or just travelled in a Denning built bus or coach, this two day event could be for you.

ATA does Darwin

The Australian Trucking Association's Trucking Australia 2017 wil be held from Wednesday, June 21 to Friday, June 23 in Darwin, NT. This one, one of the top transport and logistics industry events for 2017, is being held in the Top End of the country. And it'll be as big and as important as the Top End itself. So if you too are big and important in the trucking industry, and even if you aren't yet, you need to be there. What a great theme: "Have Your Say; Make a Difference; Get Results and Celebrate Our Industry”. And celebrate with the winners of the 2017 National Trucking Industry Awards too.

Toy Expo

Big Boys Toys Expo will be held from August 19-20 at Exhibition Park, Lyneham on Canberra's north side. It's a showcase and live demonstration expo of just about every serious big boys toy you ever thought about owning. The expo is open to the public from 10am-4pm on both days. Kids under 15 can enter with a gold coin donation which will support the work of Menslink Canberra.
