Dingoes follow their noses to find NRL grand final winner

PRESS paws on those NRL Grand Final winner predictions!

Australia Zoo has come through for those barking mad rugby league fans out there with some help from their new baby dingoes, the three Predictapups.

Seven-week-old pups Jira, Archie and Eve have followed their noses and chosen their four-legged friends, the Brisbane Broncos, as the likely winners against the North Queensland Cowboys in the NRL Grand Final on Sunday.

Sorry, Cowboy fans, we know it's ruff. But you have been forewarned.

It was a unanimous decision by the trio.

Dingo keeper Erin Berry placed two food bowls in front of Jira, Archie and Eve with each team's name in front of the bowls.

The puppies have each been named after an outstanding indigenous Australian.

Eve is named after local Gubbi Gubbi elder Eve Fessel, Archie carries the first name of singer Archie Roach and Jira is named after painter Albert Namatjira. - APN NEWSDESK
