Armed man charged after Warwick street brawl

POLICE have charged one man and investigating the involvement of at least two more people after a large street disturbance in Warwick overnight.

A 35-year-old man will appear in Warwick Magistrates Court today on burglary and assault charges after police were called to an incident in Percy St about 10.30pm Monday.

Police will allege the group of people armed with weapons were attacking each other.

Officers intervened and arrested the 35-year-old Warwick man who was taken into custody and charged with one count of burglary and two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm while armed.

Two other people received medical treatment for injuries received in the disturbance.

Warwick police said investigations were continuing.
