Assault charge and head injuries at Alexandra Hills

A MAN has been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm after an alleged incident in Alexandra Hills this morning.

Around 1.15am a 20-year-old man attended a Reading Drive address and was allegedly involved in a physical altercation resulting in a glass being thrown in his face.

The man was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries to his head.

An 18-year-old Victoria Point man was charged with AOBH and is due to appear in the Cleveland Magistrates Court on November 10.
