IF YOU'RE around the bend for fresh fruit and vegetables, then Banana Benders is sure to be your Mecca for all things yummy.

As an added bonus Banana Benders shares a building with Meat City and a soon-to-be grocery store - making it your one-stop shop for all the best fresh, local ingredients the Moreton Bay region has to offer.

New owner of Banana Benders Vijay Juvvala said his primary focus for his new business is to work within the community.

"Our point of difference is that we support the local community and farmers,” he said.

"We try to pass on the fresh vegetables and fruit to the community, and we also give discounts - there was a guy that came in from Caboolture Community Action.

"He was supporting homeless people by cooking for them so we did a lot of discount fruit and vegies for him.

"We are from the local community supporting local people.”

Banana Benders also offers discounts for anyone buying in bulk.

"If anyone is buying bulk we'll definitely pass that discount on to the customers,” he said.

"Please, come and see how good the quality is - and at a reasonable price.”

Mr Juvvala said he looked forward to establishing strong relationships with local businesses.

"I'm hoping to expand into local deliveries to schools, hospitals, child care centres, restaurants, businesses, and more,” he said.

"We're happy to do free delivery.”

Banana Benders is located at 13-17 Dickson Rd, Morayfield.
