ANDREW Bogut has committed to joining the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to US reports.

The Boomers great is expected to formally sign with the reigning NBA champions this week after weighing up multiple offers from other NBA teams.

Bogut's future was up in the air after being traded from the Dallas Mavericks to the Philadelphia 76ers last weeks.

The centre was never expected to stay with the 76ers, who looked to deal Bogut and agreed to a contract buyout which allowed him to become an unrestricted free agent.

Bogut has also held discussion with the Houston Rockets, San Antonio Spurs, and Boston Celtics.

The 32-year-old appeared to confirm the news himself with this cryptic tweet, alluding to the Cavs' team colours.

Due to the Cavaliers' salary cap constraints, it's likely former Golden State Warriors star Bogut turned down more money elsewhere to chase a second championship ring with the star-studded Cavaliers.
