A MAN has been hospitalised with burns from a pressure washer explosion after waiting three days to call for help.

Emergency services were called to a Hunchy Road, Hunchy address about 6.55am this morning where a man was suffering burns to about 8% of his body.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the man had waited three days before calling for paramedics.

He was transported to Nambour General Hospital.
