Caboolture woman allegedly attacks another woman with knife

DETECTIVES have charged a woman following an alleged assault in Caboolture overnight.

Officers were called to an address on Rogers Crescent at around 9:30pm following reports a woman armed with a knife had assaulted another woman.

On arrival officers negotiated with a woman who was allegedly armed with a knife, ordering her to drop the weapon.

The woman complied with the officers and was taken into custody without further incident.

A 55-year-old woman was treated at the scene for lacerations to her arms.

A 29-year-old Caboolture woman has been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm whilst armed.

She is due to appear in Caboolture Magistrates Court today, March 15.
