VIDEO: Footage show sledgehammer bandit at pub

CCTV footage of a man who cracked a safe at the Palmwoods Hotel has been released as police continue their hunt.

Cash was stolen from the Main St business during a break-in about 3am on Tuesday.

Footage showed a man using a sledgehammer to smash his way through an external door before running through a keg room to an office.

He then broke into that room before attacking security cameras and opening the safe.

Police are today following leads and urge anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
