Counterfeit $50 notes in circulation

POLICE are investigating counterfeit $50 notes that have been presented in shopping centres in the Springfield, Goodna, and Redbank Plains area.

Shoppers are advised to check any $50 note when provided with change, and if it isn't authentic Australian currency, report it the nearest station.
