Crash causes heavy congestion on Bruce Hwy at Burpengary

TRAFFIC is backed up on the Bruce Hwy at Burpengary after a crash blocked a south-bound lane. 

The Department of Transport and Main Roads has warned motorists to expect delays in the area. 

A car and a truck collided on the stretch of road about 12.30pm, just before the Deception Bay Rd exit at Burpengary East.

A woman in her 20s was taken to the Royal Brisbane Hospital in a stable condition.
