Crash with gutter leaves motorcyclist dead in Acacia Ridge

POLICE are investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred last night in Acacia Ridge.

Around 9.09pm, emergency services were called to a traffic incident involving a motorbike on Watson Road.

A 44-year-old man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Preliminary investigations suggest the motorbike he was riding veered off the road and clipped the gutter before colliding with a street sign.

The Forensic Crash Unit in investigating.

Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
