Crews on scene of bushfire at Narangba

QUEENSLAND Fire and Emergency Services crews are on scene at a bushfire burning near MacDonald Drive, Norfolk Lake Park, Narangba.

Crews are conducting back burning operations to contain the blaze which started this morning.

As a result, a large smoke haze is expected to affect the surrounding areas. 

Residents are advised to close windows and doors and keep medication on hand if suffering from a respiratory illness.

Motorists are reminded to drive to conditions and be mindful of emergency services personnel operating in the area.
