THE Darling Downs has two new ambassadors, with twins Luke and Cody Cook from Dalby making their debut on renovation show Crowded House Rules.

Dalby residents watched last year as construction on a house was staged off the Warrego Hwy, with part of the street cordoned off to keep the production under wraps.

A promotional clip featuring the duo was released by Channel 7 ahead of the series.

Dalby residents will be playing a game of "spot that location" as the show airs, while the twins "show these city slickers country boys can hold our own".

While the boys turn "a halfway house into a home", they are faced with learning the ins-and-outs of design in front of a national audience.

Southside Quality Meats was quick to jump on the excitement of having the Channel 7 team in town last year for filming, keeping the hungry crew fed during their stay.

Luke Cook said they were out to prove two "blokes from the bush" could win.

Channel 7 would not reveal the start date of Crowded House Rules, or the full list of competitors.
