Traffic flowing again on Bruce Highway northbound

UPDATE 2.45PM:

TRAFFIC appears to be flowing better on the Bruce Highway at the southern end of the Coast.

A crash at Chevallum is causing delays further north.

UPDATE 1PM:

THE northbound run from North Lakes to the Sunshine Coast continues to be travelling under speed this afternoon.

The busiest patches are still around Deception Bay, Burpengary and Caboolture.

UPDATE 10AM:

TRAFFIC is building up along the Bruce Highway northbound between Burpengary and Caboolture.

Southbound traffic still appears to be travelling normally right through from the Sunshine Coast down to Brisbane.

YESTERDAY:

DRIVERS are being urged to show patience on the Sunshine Mwy this afternoon as traffic builds up. 

The Deparment of Transport and Main Roads has reported congestion is affecting north-bound traffic on the motorway at Tanawha. 

Drivers should expect delays when travelling in the area.
