Elderly man in hospital after fall down escalator

An elderly man is in hospital after he fell down an escalator at Redbank Plaza this afternoon.

Queensland Ambulance Service report the incident occurred at 3.17pm.

A patient, believed to be in his mid 60s, was assessed by paramedics at the scene.

He was later transported to Ipswich Hospital in a stable condition.
