Emergent situation: Man with gun in shed at Capalaba

POLICE have declared an emergent situation at Capalaba this afternoon.

Around 3:35pm police were called to a Cassia Court residence in relation to a man inside a shed.

The man is in possession of a firearm inside the shed.

Police have withdrawn and formed a cordon around the address with the emergency being declared at 5.17pm for an area bordering Wildflower Street, Melaleuca Street, Ney Road and Mount Cotton Road.

At this time it is believed no other people are involved and no one has been injured.
