Police ask for witnesses to Cashmere fatal motorcycle crash

SUNDAY: Police investigating a fatal motorcycle crash at Cashmere yesterday, which claimed the life of a 55-year-old Ascot man, are appealing for witnesses.

Preliminary information indicates a motorcycle was travelling north along Winn Road around 2pm when it left the roadway and collided with a tree.

The rider died at the scene.

Investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit are continuing.

SATURDAY: POLICE are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash at Cashmere this afternoon.

Initial investigations indicate the crash occurred on Winn Road around 2.30pm and at this time it does not appear that any other vehicles were involved.

The rider died at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating.
