Fire crews battle huge factory blaze at Wacol

FIRE crews are battling a factory blaze at Wacol west of Brisbane.

Emergency services were called at about 5.30pm to the fire which is affecting a scrap metal and tyre factory.

Five fire trucks are on the scene battling the blaze, which is yet to be brought under control.

Paramedics are on standby with no patients being treated so far.

It is not believed there is anyone trapped in the fire.
