WAX Buildup will present the Sunshine Coast Record Fair, with more than 25,000 vinyl record and CDs for sale from stallholders coming from as far away as Sydney. Popular music from ABBA to ZZ Top and every music genre will be available.
2. Readers and Writers Festival

THE two-day concludes today and features author presentations and panel discussions on a host of topics including social issues, travel, sports writing, environmental concerns, our Australian beach culture, character and plot development in writing, publishing pitfalls and more.
3. Festival of Community Halls
WHERE: Various halls across the region
WHEN: August and September

SMALL venues across the Sunshine Coast will be lighting up as part of the Festival of Community Halls to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the naming of the Sunshine Coast. Throughout Athis month and September, more than 18 halls will host a series of unique events and activities and highlight the part halls play in a community.
4. Charity Bike Ride
WHERE: Roads throughout the Sunshine Coast
WHEN: All day but the riders will make their way from Montville, down the range to the LifeFlight Rescue Helicopter base at Sunshine Coast Airport, arriving between 2pm and 3pm.
COST: It's free to watch
A LARGE pack of cyclist will cover the 155km from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast in the annual Tour de Rescue ride in aid of the LifeFlight Rescue Helicopter Service.
5. Supercar Reunion
WHERE: Caloundra Events Centre
WHEN: All day
DID you know the Sunshine Coast produced Australia's only mid-engined supercar, the Giocattolo? Only 15 of the vehicles were made in Caloundra during the late 1980s before the company folded. A reunion of most of the surviving cars will be staged at the Caloundra Events Centre this weekend. Check out the Facebook page "Giocattolo - the Supercar from Caloundra”. The event is supporting local charity Inclusive Kids.
