Fuel leaking from tanker in rollover north of Toowoomba

AUTHORITIES are cleaning up a large fuel spill after a prime mover rolled north of Toowoomba this afternoon.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said crews had dealt with a large fuel spill from the tanker when it rolled on the Esk-Hampton Rd at Ravensbourne about 1.50pm.

She said fuel was leaking from the full tanker when crews arrived who applied absorbent materials to the area.

The driver of the truck was reportedly uninjured in the incident.

The cause is under investigation.
