TK Maxx will be opening its doors in Morayfield on Saturday, April 22 with a big celebration for local shoppers.

The store is a much-loved European retailer, famous for offering big brands at small prices, and now arriving in Australia.

The Morayfield store will stock a huge assortment of big names, top brands, up-and-coming labels, high quality fashions and one-off gems at a great discount to the prices in a department store or on the high street.

TK Maxx spokesperson Tessa Buenan said they were thrilled to bring the opportunity to shoppers in Morayfield.

"Australians love value, it's something we know customers are looking for every time they shop,” she said.

"Our Morayfield customers will discover an incredible selection of brands at exceptional values on offer throughout the entire store.”

The opening day celebrations will kick off at 8.30am on April 22 with amazing prizes to be won and plenty of surprises.

The first 1000 shoppers to arrive in store will also receive a stylish TK Maxx tote bag and there will be a Hidden Hanger Competition for the first four days, with gift cards worth a total of $500 waiting to be discovered in store.

"One of things that makes TK Maxx different from other retailers in Australia is the way we buy merchandise,” Tessa said.

"We buy throughout the year, rather than seasonally, and close to need, so when a designer overproduces or other stores overbuy, we swoop in, negotiate the lowest possible price, and pass the savings on.”

The store will get several deliveries every week with thousands of new items arriving on the shop floor.

TK Maxx Morayfield is one of 35 Trade Secret stores being converted and re-opened throughout April and May, with a few additional new stores planned to open later in the year.

Head down to shop 16/17 Morayfield Supa Centre, 312-344 Morayfield Road to grab a bargain.
