TWO separate graffiti attacks in Toowoomba must make people wonder just what sorts of fools are wandering our streets.

One certainly was racially motivated.

The other targeted a city businessman.

Both are uncalled for.

Graffiti is a mindless and destructive display of those operating with less than an appropriate number of brain cells.

Despite what these morons have tried to imply, Toowoomba is not a racist community.

The response from residents after the mosque was targeted by firebugs is evidence of that.

Toowoomba has embraced its multicultural make-up - as it should.

However, there will always be idiots and vandals who think graffiti is a way to express themselves.

They are wrong and need to face the full force of the legal system when they are apprehended.
