TOOWOOMBA car dealership Len Patti Motors' dealer principal Darryl Patti has agreed to sell the business to an undisclosed purchaser.

The impending deal follows the sale of the Crampton Automotive Group and Southern Cross Ford in the past 12 months.

Len Patti Motors, a new and used car dealer, was founded in 1981.

Mr Patti decided to sell the business so that he could retire.

"We have entered into an agreement to sell the business to a buyer that I believe is suited to the area and can take the business to the next stage," he said.

Mr Patti said all staff had been retained.

"There is no more information at his stage except this bloke can take it to the next big step and keep growing the business," he said.

Len Patti Motors sells new Mitsubishi, Kia, Great Wall and pre-loved vehicles.

Mr Patti looks forward to spending time with his wife when he retires.
