Man, 23, allegedly robbed by pair in Caboolture South

POLICE have charged three men following investigations into the alleged robbery of a 23-year-old man in Caboolture South yesterday afternoon.

It will be alleged around 3.30pm two men have approached the 23-year-old man as he walked along Industrial Avenue.

One of the men is alleged to have demanded the man's shoes and has allegedly assaulted the man.

As a result of the assault the man has fallen to the ground and it is then alleged he had his shoes and a bag containing his wallet stolen.

The two men have then left the scene in a car driven by a third man.

Police located the three men later that night and they were taken into custody and charged.

All three men, a 29-year-old Margate man, a 26-year-old Sandy Creek man and a 21-year-old Morayfield man were charged with robbery with violence whilst in company.

They are all due to appear in the Caboolture Magistrates Court on Monday, April 4.
