A MAN is in a critical condition in hospital after he was stabbed in the stomach in Underwood overnight.

Police say the 25-year-old man was found at a shopping centre about 6.50pm yesterday with single stab wound.

He was rushed to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition, where he last night underwent emergency surgery.

A crime scene has been established.

No one has been arrested.
