Chris Ison

A MAN is to face court today after being charged with fraud offences involving allegedly stolen bank cheques.

Investigations by State Crime Operations Command Identity Crime Unit have lead to the arrest of a 37-year-old Caboolture man today.

It will be alleged that bank cheques were stolen in transit in December 2009 and were used to purchase truck engines, forklifts and a bulldozer.

The man has been charged with four counts of fraud, two counts of stealing, three counts of receiving tainted property and one count of obtaining or dealing with identification information. He is expected to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
