Motorist runs off with number plates after crash

POLICE have been called to Karalee, where a man involved in a two-vehicle crash reportedly fled on foot after removing the number plates from his vehicle.

The accident has been reported on Mt Crosby Rd about 1.30pm.

Police say that when one of the drivers started to get out of the car to exchange details, the other driver removed his number plates and fled on foot.

There are no reports of injuries at this stage.
