Mason Lee case: Accused killers to face committal hearing

THREE people charged over the death of Caboolture toddler Mason Jet Lee will face a two-day committal hearing in November.

Twenty-two-month-old Mason died from severe injuries on June 11, 2016 in Caboolture.

Mason's mother, 28-year-old Anne Maree Lee, is charged with manslaughter and cruelty to children.

William Andrew O'Sullivan is charged with manslaughter, cruelty to children and two other charges.

Ryan Robert Barry Hodson, 18, faces one manslaughter charge.

A committal hearing is where a magistrates decides whether there is enough evidence to commit accused people to stand trial.

Mr Hodson and Mr O'Sullivan, 36, had their charges mentioned in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday.

The pair, along with Ms Lee, will return to the court on November 27 and 28.
