Miller attacked in question time over ‘false declaration’

JO-ANN Miller was the again the centre of proceedings in Queensland Parliament on Tuesday.

From the start of question time, the Opposition asked six times whether Ms Miller, the Bundamba MP, and Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk whether Ms Palaszczuk had received a falsely signed document from Ms Miller.

"Can the Premier confirm that on 12 July her chief of staff personally received a copy of a falsely-signed document signed by the Member for Bundamba?" Opposition Leader Lawrence Springborg asked.

But the Ethics Committee is investigating the allegation about the letter and again Ms Palaszczuk and Ms Miller refused to answer questions about it - citing standing orders preventing the discussion of documents before parliamentary committees.
