Moranbah toddler murder case adjourned to December

THE man charged with the murder of a Moranbah toddler has had his case adjourned to December 8 at Mackay Magistrates Court.

The 29-year-old Townsville man, Matthew Ireland, remains in custody.

In March this year a 18-month-old boy was flown to Townsville Hospital in a critical condition.

Ireland was initially charged with grievous bodily harm, but after the child's death the charge was upgraded to murder.
