Pledge for driver safety after spike in road deaths

THE Maryborough Policing Patrol Group is calling on the Fraser Coast to make a pledge to drive safely, following the recent spike in road deaths in the region.

Next Wednesday, Fraser Coast drivers are invited to take the pledge at the Transport and Main Roads Customer Service Centre on Bright St.

The event will be held between 8.30 and 9.30am, and encourages drivers to stay alert and sensible while driving in the region.
