Point Vernon shooter still not found

POLICE are continuing to conduct enquiries into the shooting of a man at his Point Vernon home about 5pm, Thursday, October 8.

A 22-year-old man was left with bullet fragments in his hand after the man entered his Martin St home and demanded money.

Another man was at the home at the time but he was not injured.

The assailant is described as being Caucasian with tanned skin and in his 20s.

Police have now taken a statement from the victim and are conducting further enquiries.
