Police arrest teens as party turns sour

POLICE arrested four teenagers following a rowdy party at Springfield Lakes on Sunday.

Sergeant Geoff Noller said Springfield crews were called after several teens were involved in a fight in the street.

Neighbours complained of yelling, swearing, and the sounds of breaking glass.

Four teenagers attempted to run from police but were apprehended nearby.

An 18-year-old from Greenbank, two 17-year-olds from Springfield and a 17-year-old from Waterford West were charged with public nuisance and will appear at Ipswich Magistrates Court.
