Police hunt man after bottle-o robbed in Underwood

POLICE are searching for a man following the armed robbery of a bottle shop at Underwood last night.

Around 8.40pm a man attended the Kingston Road store before producing a knife and demanding money from the male staff member.

The man then stole a sum of cash from the till and a quantity of cigarettes before running from the premises.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

The man is described as being Pacific Islander in appearance, about 180cm tall with a dark complexion.

Investigations are continuing.
