Police investigating suspicious Burpengary fire

Police are currently on scene investigating a small fire underneath a commercial premises on Station Rd, Burpengary.

A Queensland Police spokeswoman said police are 'treating it as suspicious'.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services were called to the commercial property shortly before 9am on Thursday.

"There was some black smoke evident," a QFES spokeswoman said.

" An evacuation was conducted by QPS - we did an internal search of the premises.

"The fire was extinguished at 9.17 and all persons accounted for."

Queensland Ambulance Service attended the scene but no one required treatment.
