Robbery fail: would-be thieves escape with nothing

TWO men have allegedly robbed a service station in Murrumba Downs this morning.

Police say the men entered the business on Blythe Road shortly after 1am armed with a knife.

One of the men went behind the counter to access the till but was unable to access any cash.

The pair fled on foot without any money.

No one was physically injured as a result of the robbery.

Investigations are continuing.
