AUSTRALIAN band Thirsty Merc is mourning the death of a crew member killed in a car crash as they travelled through Victoria on their national tour.
it is understood the band's stage manager was killed when the car carrying he and drummer Mick Skelton was involved in a collision with a ute in Streatham at about 2.30pm on Tuesday.
News Limited is reporting Skelton was seriously injured and was flown to Alfred Hospital.
The other three members of the band are thought to have been in a separate car.
The band was on the way to Warrnambool, where they were due to play last night.
The future of their Good Life national tour -- which includes shows in Grafton, Coffs Harbour, Toowoomba and Noosaville -- is now unclear.
The band is best known for a suite of pop hits during the early part of the 2000s.
Their song In The Summertime has been used for the Ten Network's Bondi Rescue.
