Wamuran's barbecue and bonfire night, which was set to feature a host of local artists, has been cancelled for a second time due to poor weather.

The event was supposed to feature local artists Jesse Davis, Ruby Gilbert and Mikara Grant-Freeman at the Wamuran Sports Complex tonight, but Moreton Bay Regional Council issued a statement apologising.

"Due to recent wet weather as well as further rainfall this morning, tonight's BBQ & Bonfire Night at Wamuran Sports Complex has been cancelled," a spokesman said.

"Council apologises for any inconvenience caused."
