CCTV cameras in a 'haunted' supermarket have captured a 'poltergeist' hurtling food off the shelves and rattling doors in the middle of the night.
The Mirror reports staff at the Co-op in Whaley Bridge, Derbyshire are so petrified of the 'ghost' they are closing early on Halloween.
In the video you can see food items being thrown from shelves, lights flickering, a shadow moving among the aisles and the cold room door being rattled.
Regional manager, Chris Armstrong told The Mirror the store has thought to be haunted for over 100 years.
"The store's built on a set of old cellars.
"Unexplained stock movements are happening, doors rattle in their frames when there's nobody anywhere near them.
"It's been thought to be haunted for certainly 100 years.
"But in the past few years there have been more and more happenings, which have led there staff here to believe there is definitely something in the story."
