A KILLER whale has proved it's not to be messed with, after footage emerged of the orca flinging a seal 20 metres into the air off the coast of Canada.

The transient orca seen off Victoria, British Columbia is part of a pod known as the T69s, with the lone male in the group featuring in the footage.

According to Roll Focus Productions who uploaded the video to YouTube, the whale's name is T69C and he is 20 years old.
