WATCH: Woman 'disappears' on live TV - but how?

IT seems like an innocuous live TV interview next to an airport baggage carousel - until something very strange happens.

Filmed for a Norwegian TV sports show, the clip posted on Imgur shows two women in the background talking and collecting their luggage.

It's what happens next that has everyone confused: one woman walks off with a trolley full of luggage, while the other seems to disappear completely.

"Okay that's the creepiest thing I've seen in a while. Almost hope it's fake," wrote one viewer under the video.

"I was sitting here for an hour staring at my screen."

Many tried to explain the woman's disappearance by saying she simply turned and walked away behind the woman in front.

"You can kinda see the foot moving behind the lady's bum," wrote one observant viewer.

"Watch for the reflection in the silver trash can...I thinks it's a trash can. Also, you can see the 'disappearing' woman's left heel."

Perhaps one viewer summed it up best like this: "Perspective is a hella of a drug."

Whatever the reason, the video has quickly gone viral with more than 3.5 million views in the last 24 hours.
